Location: Dallas, TX
Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Pay Rate: $45 - $70 / hour

• Full-time/Part-time

• Nights/Day/Weekend

• An associates degree or BNS with NCLEX licensure in nursing is required

$3,000 sign-on bonus for those who qualify
 

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality nursing care and promoting a positive image of nursing.

• Responds to life-threatening situations by using nursing standards and treatment procedure and protocols.

• ​Ability to administer oxygen, IV fluids, blood transfusions, prescribed medications, and titrate medications according to hospital policy.

• Help the physicians perform procedures like intubation, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, subclavian line insertion, and the placement of pulmonary artery catheters.

• Ability and will to work in a demanding environment that calls for critical thinking, strong knowledge, and competence.

• Handles critical and highly stressful situations, reacting decisively with efficiency and composure.

• Provide complex and comprehensive professional nursing services for various diagnoses for patients of all ages.

• Physical fitness required for the core job duties in light of the patient populations routinely served in the practice setting.

• Effective communication abilities to facilitate interactions with patients, families, and members of different healthcare teams.

• Maintains and updates clinical expertise based on modern approaches to nursing education.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program

2+ years of experience 

 State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

 BLS

 ACLS

 

Preferred:

 Bachelor's degree in nursing

 CCRN

The pay range for this position is: $45 - $70  / hour. Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience.
