Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Pay Rate: $40 - $70 / hour

• Full-time/Part-time

• Nights/Day/Weekend

• An associates degree or BNS with NCLEX licensure in nursing is required

 

$3,000 sign-on bonus for those who qualify
 

Job Responsibilities:

​

• As a registered nurse, you will work as part of a team, be adaptable, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.

• Administers medication and performs treatments following established guidelines

• ​Possesses a thorough knowledge of the facility's policies, procedures, programs, after the hire

• Effectively assigns appropriate patient care tasks to other patient care team members who have the requisite knowledge and expertise. Follow the patient care plan, updating and recording any changes that might happen.

• Ability to identify emergencies and promptly notify the appropriate patient care team members

• Handles critical and highly stressful situations, reacting decisively with efficiency and composure.

• Ability to follow infection control guidelines, such as hand hygiene, room assignment, isolation precautions, aseptic/sterile techniques, and generally accepted safety measures.

• Respond to life-threatening situations by using nursing standards and treatment procedure and protocols.

• Provide and coordinates the health education that individuals, families, and groups require

• Maintains and updates clinical expertise based on modern approaches to nursing education.

• The Registered Nurse is accountable for ensuring that the Plan of Care is followed through performance and/or appropriate delegation to unit personnel.

• Identifies, organizes, and puts into practice nursing interventions. enables and assesses the results of nursing care for a single patient or a group of patients.

• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; medication administration and storage procedures; and controlled substance regulations.

Requirements:

​

Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program

2+ years of experience 

State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

BLS

ACLS

 

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in nursing

CCRN

The pay range for this position is: $40 - $70 / hour. Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience.
